The Ladue chapter of HOSA - Future Health Professionals (formerly Health Occupations Students of America) aims to develop, support, and provide opportunities for future leaders of the healthcare field. It empowers students to pursue a career in healthcare by giving them access to resources, education, competitions, and a nationwide network of students and teachers passionate about all the healthcare field has to offer.

  • What is HOSA?
HOSA - Future Health Professionals used to be named Health Occupations Students of America. HOSA is an organization that aims to empower its members to pursue a career in the healthcare field at a time when doctors are needed more than ever, and develop students' leadership skills to prepare them for the professional world. HOSA hosts conferences (most notably its State and International Leadership Conferences) whose central activities are competitive events relating to leadership and healthcare. While competition is a large part of conferences, HOSA membership also brings workshops, speakers, and other healthcare-related opportunities to its students.
  • What does Ladue HOSA do?
Ladue HOSA is a chapter of Missouri HOSA, which in turn is a state chapter of the main HOSA organization. Established by Ladue students, this chapter intends to not only prepare its students for competition and make the most of conferences, but also to provide its members the many resources and opportunities offered both by HOSA and locally. This year, Ladue HOSA is prepared to offer students new and engaging healthcare-related opportunities virtually and in-person, and remains dedicated to preparing for the spring State Leadership Conference.
  • When are meetings?
Meetings are typically Tuesdays at 9 AM. When a meeting is scheduled, members will be emailed the date, time, and information as well as the Zoom link. Meeting dates will be posted on the meetings calendar on the Ladue HOSA website.
  • How do I join?
Fill out our Google Form to receive emails and be a member of HOSA! Members who wish to participate in state and national events (conferences, competition, workshops, etc.) must pay $20 in membership dues. More details will be provided via email and during upcoming meetings. Local members who do not wish to participate in state and national events (e.g. the SLC and ILC) do not have to pay these dues.
