OUR MISSION

HOSA's State Leadership Conference allows students from all over the state of Missouri to come together and compete in a variety of different healthcare disciplines and competition formats. The top qualifiers from each event will proceed to the International Leadership Conference (if in-person, the 2021 ILC will be held at Disney World in Orlando!) Students may enter one event. The SLC is typically held in-person and is an overnight trip, but may be held in a virtual format depending upon circumstances in the spring.

Other than competing, the State Leadership Conference provides opportunities for members to connect with other similarly-minded students across the state, listen to speakers, and find new resources and tools to further their exploration of the healthcare field.
